Aggregate crushing value provides a relative measure of the resistance of an aggregate to crushing under a gradually applied compressive load.

75 mm Diameter Aggregate crushing value apparatus is used for aggregates smaller than 9,52 mm.

150 mm Diameter Aggregate crushing value apparatus is used for aggregate passing 12.7 mm and retained by 9,52 mm sieve.
